It covers the general points of Hapkido, and goes into enough details that you would be happy with it. It shows a handful of techniques for different attacks, the different parts of the hand and foot to strike with and general way of how to strike with those according to Hapkido style.

My background is in Taekwondo. I know that Hapkido is an extension of that and I wanted to teach myself. So, this book is a great start for me. For those that study martial arts...never stop growing or improving yourself.

All Marc's books are worth the reada
I must say this is one of the best Martial Arts books published, in my opinion. I gave it to an Hopkido instructor as a gift. Accepted very well. There are voulumes of illustrations, very detail. It's great as a reference book, there is much to learn. This book will help you. Recommended.
Wasn't the full sized book that I thought it would be. These all have the same cover but the full book costs about $100.00. THIS is NOT THAT book! If you want the full book look for the one which costs $90.00 or more!
